The Holiday Spirit fundraising event is open to the public and includes the following activities:
An open meet and greet with the legendary basketball player, Mr. Charles Oakley.
- Mr. Oakley will present his Gunter Wilhelm signature Oak-in-the-Kitchen collection, provide photo opportunities, and autographs.
- Gunter Wilhelm and Charles Oakley will auction a lucrative autographed Oak-in-the-Kitchen package to benefit OBR.
All donated proceeds to OBR; in addition, Gunter Wilhelm will donate 10% event sales to OBR.

ABOUT CHARLES OAKLEY:
Since retiring from basketball, Charles has turned his passion to the kitchen. In 2008, he hosted his own unique cooking show, Cafe Oakley. His specialties are healthy foods with savory and delicious flavors, notably turkey burgers. Charles went on to open Red, the Steakhouse in Cleveland and another location in South Beach, Miami, FL. ABOUT OPERATION BBQ RELIEF:
OBR was founded in May 2011 in response to the need for relief efforts in tornado-stricken Joplin, Missouri, a community of about 50,000 residents. Volunteers from competition BBQ teams from eight states came to help feed displaced families, police, fire, National Guard and emergency personnel.
With more than 1,500,000 hot meals served, Operation BBQ Relief strives to provide compassion and to offer hope and friendship to those whose lives affected by disasters across the United States.
They leverage their expertise in cooking and catering BBQ meals with their ability to mobilize their teams quickly into any area where disaster disrupts and tears apart the lives of Americans.
